Five Eighty is a New York-based media and brand consulting company with a portfolio of clients spanning sports, entertainment, and culture. FISLL is one of their signature clients: a brand built around the values of Faith, Integrity, Sacrifice, Leadership, and Legacy, expressed through athletic apparel and motivational content.
Analyzed FISLL's brand values and existing visual identity to understand the emotional register the intro and outro animations needed to hit: powerful, aspirational, and rooted in the brand's fire motif. Studied broadcast-grade motion design references to define the technical and stylistic bar for intro/outro sequences used in video content. Aligned on tone, duration, and sound design considerations with the Five Eighty team prior to production.
Designed a dramatic logo reveal sequence for the FISLL Outro featuring the brand's signature circular emblem engulfed in procedural fire effects, culminating in a clean logo lockup on black. Developed a contrasting intro sequence with a gritty, street-level visual language; bold red typography, kinetic word reveals, and an urban montage aesthetic that established an immediate sense of purpose and intensity. Both pieces were designed to function as standalone brand moments.
Produced both sequences in After Effects, building particle-based fire simulations for the outro and compositing live-action footage with animated typography layers for the intro. Managed rendering pipelines for broadcast-quality output and optimized for video platform delivery. Delivered final assets as both full-length sequences and shortened cutdown versions for social use.
The dual sequence approach, fire-based outro paired with a street-energy intro, was designed to give FISLL content a recognizable broadcast identity that felt earned, not templated. The fire motif carried through both pieces as a unifying symbol of the brand's core ethos: burning with purpose. Together, the intro and outro framed every FISLL video with a level of production quality that elevated the brand's credibility across every platform it appeared on.
